Beth Phoenix is an excellent American professional wrestler.

Beth attended a professional wrestling school and Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

While in school, Beth was trained by the 'All Knighters' [Joey Knight and Robin Knightwing].

Beth competed against Alexis Laree in her debut wrestling match.

Phoenix then competed with various independent promotions, including Cleveland All Pro Wrestling and Apocalypse Wrestling, against both male and female wrestlers.

She was one of the first wrestlers in an independent organization for women, GLORY and became its inaugural champion in 2002.

Beth Phoenix later joined Far North Wrestling [FNW].

She became the FNW Cruiserweight Champion in 2003 defeating Joey Knight and Kevin Grace.

Beth appeared at the inaugural taping for the promotion of Shimmer Women Athletes.

She won a non-title match against NWA Midwest Women's Champion MsChif.

She signed contract with WWE on October 20th, 2005.

Phoenix defeated Serena in Ohio Valley Wrestling [OVW] on August 16th, 2006.

Beth Phoenix made her debut in the episode of Raw on the May 8th, 2006 as a fan favorite by attacking Mickie James during James' assault on Trish Stratus.

On the May 29th, 2006 episode of "Raw", Beth and Wilson teamed together to defeat Candice Michelle and Victoria.

She won a match against Victoria though she suffered a legitimately fractured mandible on the June 5th, 2006 episode of "Raw".

On the July 9th, 2007 episode of "Raw" Phoenix competed as a villain when Melina claimed to be injured and needed a replacement as Jillian Hall's tag team partner.

Phoenix won the Interpromotional Divas Battle Royal at the SummerSlam pay-per-view and became the number one contender for Candice Michelle's Women's Championship.
